Jessica Bockler

Director, Alef Trust &
First Mum of Creative Alternatives

Creative Alternatives puts people and purpose before any clinical labels. It helps us all to recognise and grow our innate creativity, so we can better handle the challenges life puts in our path. In dark times we all need affirmation and care. Creative Alternatives offers that, playfully and joyfully. It brings light, so we can find our way again.

I dance, write, meditate, go for walks in the woods, sing, doodle and jump into ice cold water now and then!

Dancing, writing and acting!

Jessica started Creative Alternatives all the way back in 2006 in the Borough of Sefton. She is an artist and a psychologist who now co-leads the Alef Trust, the social enterprise that hosts Creative Alternatives. She believes in play and creative self-exploration and self-expression as pathways to greater health and wellbeing. She now works on seeding more initiatives for a better world around the world, supporting the people who steward social change.
